William "Bill" Martin Wood, 56, passed away on May 11, 2025, in Charleston, South Carolina.

Bill was a big personality—so funny, full of life, and always ready with a story or a smile. He spent his career in the hospitality industry, where his warmth and humor left a lasting impression on everyone he met.

He is survived by his mother, MaryAnn Turner Wood; his brother, Michael Wood, and sister-in-law, Susan Wood—all of Charleston, SC; and his daughter, Gabrielle Wood of the Bay Area, California.

He is also lovingly remembered by his late father, Jimmy Ray Wood.

A private memorial will be held in his honor.
