William Jerry Ford, 83, of Charleston, SC, passed away on February 2, 2024.

Jerry was born in Whitmire, SC on February 14, 1940, the son of Bill and Inez Ford. He attended The University of South Carolina and was a member of Kappa Sigma Fraternity.

Jerry wore many hats in his professional career from owning his own business to sales for various companies. He enjoyed golf and card games, but what he loved most was his family.

Jerry is survived by his daughter, Melissa Seabrook (Trey) of Johns Island, SC; son, Bill Ford (Kristee) of Collierville, TN; brother, Charles Ford (Nancy); sister, Patricia Dukes; four grandchildren, Julia Seabrook, Billy Ford, Karsyn Ford, and Kora Ford; four step-grandchildren, Brock Seabrook, Brittany Westall (Andy), Sean Seabrook (Taylor), and Katie DiStefano (Matt); nine great-grandchildren; and six nieces.

In addition to his parents, Jerry is preceded in death by his wife, Ann Ford and his brother, Ronnie Ford.

A Memorial/Celebration of Life service will be held at 2pm on February 18, 2024, at The Charleston Rifle Club, 2221 Heriot Street, Charleston, SC 29403.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to American Diabetes Association.
