Thomas M. Williams, Sr. (Tom), 64, of Charleston, SC, passed away on November 28, 2023 - 10 years to the day of his Father in Law (Papa's) passing.

Tom's life was celebrated with family and friends during last week's Carolina/Clemson game.  He was surrounded by love, watching his favorite college football team.

Tom was born in Jeffersonville, Indiana on August 9, 1959 to Alice Williams and his beloved father, Floyd Trotter.

Tom previously worked at SCE&G as a gas journeyman and began a career in the Construction Field as Owner/Operator of TAG Gas Works until his passing.  Tom enjoyed hunting with his "buddies and friends." The hunting stories were enormous and I'm sure sprinkled with humor and white lies. The joke at the hunting club was that you better never make Tom "tractor mad"...if you know, you know.

Tom enjoyed golf in his younger days and made several visits to the Masters, always just to crouch down and feel the grass on the course.

Tom was married to Tamara Giordano (Tammy) for 33 years, and they were both the love of each other's life.  Within minutes of his passing, he was still giving kisses to her, ever so gently.  Tom passed into the arms of Our Savior ever so swiftly.  I'm sure he was greeted by his father (Floyd/Papaw), father-in-law (Papa), and his sister-in-law (Roxanne).

Tom and his son Thomas, were one in the same - hardworking, determined, and of course on the opposite side of the college football spectrum.  Even though Thomas, rooted for "them Tigers,"  Tom was so very proud of the man he had become in becoming a family man himself.  Tom was thrilled to see that Thomas had found the woman of his dreams with Kala.

Anthony, (Tom's bonus son),  started with the TAG Gas business when he was just 17 years old.  Twenty years later, Anthony is still carrying the tradition that Tom had worked so hard for.

Alicia Rose,  (Tom's Princess)  the one that never ever could do wrong in his eyes. She was his poker playing buddy at the casinos.  She would hang on to every word he said,  and he most certainly hung on to hers.  Alicia's best casino trick was telling Tom she ran out of money, and he would give her more - when really all she was doing was pocketing the money.  She always came out a winner!

Tom's two grandchildren,  Ember Iris (11) and Greyson Michael (nickname of Bocephus) (4) - brought him exploding joy. Grandpa Tom had "NO RULES" at his house, and those grands were his world!

Tom is also survived by his sister Teresa, brother Jeff (Pat), and brother Alex (Jana).  Tom is also survived by his Dear Aunt Rosie, Dear Aunt Judi, and their families.

Mother-in-law Rosemary Giordano blessed Tom as her own, as did all of Tamara's siblings (Rosemary, Carmela, Ellie, and Jackie) welcomed Tom as their brother.

Tom had a vast majority of friends, "his buddies," who loved him till the end and will love him forever more.
