Theodore "Ted" Moore Jr., 60, loving son, father, brother, uncle, and Grandpa was called home on Monday, June 20, 2022 surrounded by the love of his family after a long and hard fought battle with cancer.

Ted was born July 27, 1961 in Fayetteville, NC. The loving son of the late Catherine and Ted Moore Sr., he is survived by his sisters Kathy Jarman (Dale) and Barbara Forthofer (Pete), brother Robert Moore (Marie), nieces and nephews (Lori and Amy Jarman, James Forthofer, Matt and Michael Moore), and his loving children Maggie Parry (Ed) and Kevin (Laura). Ted's most recent joy in life was his one-year old grandson Bodie, and Baby Parry due October.

As an avid baseball fan, his love of the game and the NY Mets will always be remembered. He once said he would treat his battle with cancer like a game of baseball, and give it his all until the final out of the last inning. He did just that and never quit. His legacy will live through Maggie, Kevin, and others, forever.

A life so beautifully lived deserves to be beautifully remembered. A Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday, July 7, 2022, from 6-8pm at Charleston Cremation Center & Funeral Home located at  2054 Wambaw Creek, Charleston, SC 29492. The family will receive friends during his Celebration of Life.
