Stephanie Dawn Austin, of Charleston, SC, just 50 years old, died unexpectedly on June 10, 2022, from a heart condition. The family is deeply saddened by her sudden death.

She is survived by her children, Kevin Nazario, Donta Howell, Bryan Howell, & Imani Thomas; Fiancé, Michael Greene; Mother, Cynthia Nazario; Sisters, Yolanda (Ron) Greenwood & Nicole (Santonio) Ford; Nieces & Nephews, Troy, Raniya, Marquez & Natalia; Aunts, Annette Cox, Debbie Winn & Shirley (Bill) Tindall; Uncles, Tony Buchanan & Michael (Charlene) Frazier; and numerous cousins. Preceding her in death was her grandparents, Junior & Vonita Frazier; her aunt, Karen Frazier; and her uncle, John Winn.

Stephanie was born April 2, 1972, in Charleston, SC. She cared deeply for her family, both by blood and those she adopted along the way. She was very friendly and anyone that truly knew her, knew she had such a big heart. She was known for her quick wit, her infectious laugh, and her kind and compassionate spirit. She had a protective affection for her children and was their biggest supporter. She cherished spending time with her loved ones whether it was going out for a night on the town or staying close to home. She loved deeply and we take comfort in knowing that Stephanie is now at peace surrounded by light.

There will be a Memorial Service on Wednesday, June 22, 2022, at 11:00 am to honor her. The memorial will be at Faith in Action Christian Fellowship at 2730 Gordon St, North Charleston, SC 29405. Officiating will be Apostle Bernard Whaley.
