It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Spencer Wolff Reilly on September 29, 2024. He passed away from injuries sustained from a fall in Charleston, South Carolina.

Spencer was born in Portland, Oregon, on February 22, 1998, to Ilka and Stephen Reilly. He grew up with two older brothers, Jake and Nicholas, as well as a large extended family. He attended Lincoln High School and later pursued studies at Portland State University before following his passion for real estate and interior design. There, his creativity and keen eye for detail truly flourished. He moved to Charleston in 2020, where he loved his new hometown and all that it had to offer him.

Spencer's sense of humor and distinctive style were signature traits that ran in the family, making him much like his beloved grandmother. Whether it was through his carefully curated outfits or his uplifting personality, Spencer had a unique ability to bring joy and laughter to everyone he met.

He enjoyed activities like cooking classes, karate lessons, countless shopping and sushi dates, and even the occasional mani-pedi. He perfectly balanced his love for all things fancy with the same enthusiasm for getting dirty and trying new things. Spencer was also someone who could strike up a conversation with anyone. He often gravitated towards the older generation at family gatherings and would engage them in family lore.

Though Spencer had many personal interests, his family was most important to him, and he always made time for family adventures. One cherished memory involves a spontaneous barefoot hike up Mt. Hood at 4 a.m., where Spencer, dressed in expensive clothes, playfully complained about getting them dirty but didn't hesitate to dive into the fun. He always tried to make every moment enjoyable and memorable.

Spencer's life, though cut tragically short, was filled with laughter, adventure, and love. He touched the hearts of everyone he knew, and his memory will continue to live on in all who were fortunate enough to be part of his life.

In addition to his parents and his brothers, Spencer is survived by his grandparents, William Reilly, and Bing and Emily Supanich. He will also be remembered by his aunts, uncles, and numerous cousins on both sides of the family. He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Rose Marie Reilly, and his uncle, David Supanich.

A celebration of Spencer's life will be held on November 2, 2024 at Portland Golf Club from 11 am to 2 pm. Friends and family will gather to honor his memory, share stories, and celebrate the beautiful soul that Spencer was. A private internment will precede the celebration.
