It is with great shock and greater sadness that we announce the passing of Ronald Allen Robinson. Ron was born in St. Louis, MO on January 26, 1962 to James and Joyce Robinson. He was a proud Air Force veteran and when the Air Force brought him to the Lowcountry in the 1980s, he never left. Ron loved fishing, dove hunting, poker, and renovating the house he bought with Carrie in 2019.

Ron leaves behind two beloved children from a prior relationship: Amanda Hill (her husband Rob, and their two children Charlotte and Logan) and Thomas Mitchum and his husband Matthew.

He also leaves behind countless friends whose lives were brightened by his presence. Everyone who met Ron loved him.

Ron was skilled in all aspects of construction and carpentry. There are countless buildings and homes in the area that benefited from his meticulous craftsmanship.

His kindness and love of animals was apparent every day in the way he adored their cats, Moose, Louis, and Spike, as well as Leno and the rest of the outside crew.

Left to cherish the memories of 22 wonderful years is Carrie Huston, Ron's sweetheart and greatest love.

Charleston Cremation Center and Funeral Home is handling arrangements.

There will be a Celebration of Life at a future date.
