Robert Roger Small, 53, of Folly Beach, SC, passed peacefully on December 15, 2024, surrounded by both of his sisters, Pamela and Tracy, in his final moments.
Born in Charleston, SC on June 25, 1971, Robert was the son of Raymond Randolf Small and Linda Jean Clark.
Robert worked as an Automobile Mechanic for Livingston Auto Parts for a number of years before obtaining his training and certifications to successfully transition into the field of Commercial Truck Driving.
A Charleston Native, he grew up and attended school on James Island, before eventually relocating to Folly Beach. He enjoyed much of his time at the beach, riding on his motorcycles, shooting pool at the Sand Dollar Social Club and always made time to lend a helping hand to friends and family any time that he could.
Robert is preceded in death by his loving mother, Linda Jean Clark (Recu), nephew, Lawson Wayne Bracewell, III, and his father, Raymond Randolf Small.
He is survived by his sisters, close family and dear friends.
In lieu of flowers, Robert requested a large Celebration of Life in his honor. Contributions for the event are being collected. All are invited to attend and share in memories of his life.
The Celebration of Life will be held at James Island County Park, with a sunset toast to follow at the Sand Dollar Social Club, on Folly Beach. Final date and times of these events are to be determined and will be publicized separately.
