Mrs. Rebecca S. Beach, 90, of Awendaw, SC, passed away on August 8, 2025.

The memorial service will be held graveside at 5:00pm on August 13, 2025 at 5600 HWY 17 N, Awendaw, SC, 29429.

Rebecca was born in Awendaw on December 8, 1934, the daughter of Mrs. Rebecca Green and Mr. Henry Dingle Sr.

Rebecca worked for several hospitals for a number of years. She retired from East Cooper Hospital. She enjoyed cooking, gardening, and sharing her knowledge of healthy living. She was actively involved in her church and served as a Stewardess.

Rebecca is survived by her four children; Abraham Simmons(Susan), Clara Green, Linda Young(Raymond), and Sarah Simmons(Arthur). Her son Alvin and Rev. Michael Simmons preceded her in death. She also leaves behind a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, family, and friends.

Rebecca is preceded in death by her siblings: Isaiah, Henry, Willie Jr., and Josey Simmons, Margaret Keith, and Albertha White.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be given in memoriam to the Plant A Seed Foundation.

Funeral arrangements are by Charleston Cremation Center.
