Patricia Darling Green, 84, entered into eternal rest February 7, 2025, Mt. Pleasant, SC.

Her Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 PM, Tuesday, February 25, 2025, at St. Andrew's Church, 440 Whilden Street, Mt. Pleasant. Burial will be private.

Patricia was born on June 21, 1940, in Beaufort, NC. She was the daughter of the late James T. and Louise Darling of Beaufort, NC. After receiving her cosmetology license in 1976, she worked in Mt. Pleasant until her retirement in 2010. She was a devout Christian who sang in the choir for over 51 years and worked in The Tea Room at Christ Church in Mt Pleasant, SC.

She loved the beach, cross stitching, knitting and cooking the old way. No one could fry flounder and shrimp the way she could.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Percy Allen Green (The Flounder King), son Percy Allen Green Jr., grandson James Allen Clarkin, sister Thelma D. Millis and brother Robert Judson Darling.

Patricia is survived by her daughter, Barbara L. Green of Mt Pleasant; her granddaughters, Cassandra C. Tollens of Carolina Beach, NC; Megan T. Clarkin of Charleston, SC; and Amanda C. Christ of Wilmington NC; four great grandchildren; her sisters, Swanna Doyle of Anderson, IN and Jennifer Allen of New Berlin, WI; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
