Olivia Lily Meier, 4, of Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, passed away on Friday, January 13, 2023. A memorial service will be held Monday, January 16th at 10am at Seacoast Church, 750 Long Point Road, Mount Pleasant, SC 29464. Guests are encouraged to wear pink and yellow to the service to honor Olivia's vibrant personality as those were her favorite colors. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that gifts be made in honor of Olivia to the MUSC Shawn Jenkins Children's Hospital. Olivia was born July 11, 2018 in Charleston, daughter of Andreea Toader Meier and Hans Christian Meier. Olivia was incredibly loving and affectionate. Her want and need to demonstrate her love and affection, was best manifested by her continual negotiations on the number of bedtime hugs and kisses required on a given night. She was effervescent and expressive in the love and affection of her parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins. She had an expressive artistic soul that loved to sing, dance, and draw. Her 4 and a half years of life represented a life without any true sense of loss or pain, and instead, one of love, affection and expressiveness.

In addition to her parents, Olivia is survived by Ovidiu Toader (maternal grandfather), Liliana Toader (maternal grandmother), Andrew Toader (maternal uncle), William Meier (paternal grandfather), Loretta Meier (paternal grandmother), Erika Meier (paternal aunt), Paul and Emmy Meier (paternal uncle and aunt), Tim and Leah Rile (paternal uncle and aunt), Elisa Meier (paternal aunt), Carissa Meier (paternal aunt), Jonathan Isaac Meier (paternal uncle), Elayna Meier (paternal aunt), Elizabeth Meier (paternal aunt), Jonathan Christopher Meier (paternal uncle), and first cousins Alora, David, Madison, and Mackenzie.
