Nola M. Thompson of Wando, SC, passed away on February 13, 2025, at the age of 75.

Born on May 7, 1949, to the late Carrie and Frank Douglas, Nola was a beloved wife, mother, sister, and friend. She is predeceased by her loving husband of 25 years, Chuck Thompson, survived by her sister and brother-in-law, Karen and Joe Sankey, and sons, Rick Smith, and Charles Thompson; daughter-in-law, Sarah Thompson; and her grandson, Maddox Thompson. Additionally, she is survived by many life-long friends that she cherished very deeply.

Nola faced life's challenges with grace and strength. Her legacy is one of her inner strength and wisdom, love and unwavering support for those she cared about. Her presence in our lives was a gift and she will be greatly missed.

A private service will take place later this year.
