Neil Alan Carande, 62, of Hilton Head Island, South Carolina died peacefully on May 12, 2023, after a brief illness. He was born on January 13, 1961 in Brockton, MA. He is predeceased by his mother and father, Roberta and John Carande along with the love of his life, his wife Heidi Carande. Neil is survived by his brothers Mark and Carl (sister-in-law Irene), and sister Beth Fehr (brother-in-law Tom) along with his nephew Matthew Fehr and nieces Kristie Carande Power, Rachel Carande Joseph, and Aly Fehr. Neil was also recently enjoining being a Great Uncle to Dylan John Power.
Neil was an avid sports enthusiast and an accomplished golfer. While playing at Brockton High School they won the state championship and Neil was entered into the Brockton High Golf Hall of Fame. He made a number of close relationships during that time that became lifelong friends.
Professionally he was an electronic Salesman, Representative and Distributor for over 35 years. Neil was well known in the industry where he built a large number of close relationships that he served for decades. Recently Neil attended his 36th Consumer Electronic Show. Neil was preparing for retirement and was looking forward to continuing working with his close friend in the Industry.
His other love was for animals where he adopted many stray dogs and cats from various locations and animal shelters. Neil and Heidi brought these animals into their home and treated them like royalty. Their adopted "children" were all very lucky to get a second chance under their love, care, and attention. With this in mind, the family requests, in lieu of flowers, that contributions be made to any local animal shelter in Neil's name.
