Michael V. LeBel, passed away on Thursday, July 3rd, 2024, at the age of 73.

Mike was born and raised in Jacksonville, NC, the son of Vincent and Bernice LeBel. He graduated from Jacksonville High School in 1969, and then he served honorably in the U.S. Navy. After being discharged, Mike attended The Citadel and received a BS in Biology in 1975. While in school, he was a member of the football, track, and wrestling teams.

Mike then embarked on a successful career in coaching, acting, modeling, and sales which took him to Boone, NC, Charlotte, NC, Greenville, SC, and finally Atlanta, GA.

In 1996, Mike decided to follow his passion for science and enrolled at Life University. In 2000, he graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Doctorate in Chiropractic and was also the President of his graduating class.

He then relocated to Mount Pleasant, SC where he owned and operated Low Country Spine Center, until he retired in 2014. Mike was passionate about his work and made a positive impact on his patients' lives.

Mike is survived by his son, Kevin M. LeBel of Mt. Pleasant, SC; his sister, Maribeth Kondziola; and his brother, David LeBel, both of Vero Beach, FL.

He enjoyed sailing, riding his Harley, and spending time with his English Bulldogs.

Mike will always be remembered by the hearts he touched and the impact he made in many people's lives.
