Michael (Mike) Horan, 55, of Sullivan's Island, SC, passed away on Monday, March 20, 2023, after being diagnosed with cancer. Services will be announced at a later date and are being handled by Charleston Cremation Center, 2054 Wambaw Creek Rd., Charleston.

Mike was born on April 25, 1967, in Melrose, MA, to the late William Charles Horan and Mary Claire (Butler) Horan. In addition to his professional life, Mike was a devoted stay-at-home dad for 10 years before it was the norm.

Mike is survived by his beloved wife Sandra (Haupt) Horan of 25 years and their children Allison and James Horan of Spartanburg and Matthew P. Horan of Sullivan's Island. He is also survived by his brother JP Horan of the US Virgin Islands, his sister Marybeth Barter (Horan) of Key West, FL and Mark Barter, as well as nieces and nephews.

Mike is preceded in death by his mother Mary C. Horan (Butler) of Stoneham and Melrose, and his father William C. Horan, who passed in 1987.
