Kimberly Powell Billings, 65, of Charleston, South Carolina, passed away on July 15, 2022. She was born to parents Jesse Powell and Sarah Kenyon Reicke on May 6, 1957 in Charleston, South Carolina. She was raised in Monroeville, Pennsylvania, where she graduated from the Indiana University of Pennsylvania with a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology. She moved back to Charleston, South Carolina in 1980 where she has resided ever since and worked as a kindergarten teacher at Kindercare for several years. Kim enjoyed spending time with her family, reading, putting together puzzles, and playing games.

Kim is survived by her children: Kristen Hess Wurster (Douglas), Jennifer Billings Rogers (Nick), Ryan Billings (Erin), grandchildren: Christian Antich, Brooklyn Rogers, Kory Brame, Camryn Rogers, Cole Brame, and Jacob Billings, her father: Jesse Powell, stepmother: Carol Powell, sister: Tyler Kish (Steve), brother: Michael Powel (Amy), nephews: Jonathan Kish (McKensie), Patrick Kish (Morgan), Jackson Powell and Bennett Powell. She was preceded in death by her mother, Sarah Riecke Cox.

The family has entrusted Charleston Cremation Center and Funeral Home. A private celebration of life will be held for Kim at a later date.
