Kendria Monnay Williams, lovingly known as Kay, 42 years old, of Charleston, SC, passed away on July 1, 2024.

A memorial service will be held at a later date in New York details regarding the time and location will be announced.

Kendria was born in the Bronx, NY, on June 6, 1982, to Darrell Williams and Michelle Harris. She worked tirelessly as a janitor for local schools, ensuring her three children were well taken care of, often working two jobs to make ends meet. Kendria was a hardworking single mother whose dedication to her family was unmatched.

She loved going on family trips, enjoyed eating out, and had a fondness for watching little cat videos on Instagram. Her beautiful soul touched everyone who knew her.

Kendria was preceded in death by her mother, Michelle, who also passed away from cancer. She is survived by her three beloved children, Lea, Dandre, and Andrew; her father; her sisters; her brothers; and many other family members and friends who will miss her dearly.

Funeral arrangements are entrusted to the Charleston Cremation Center. Kendria's remains will be cremated at the Charleston Cremation Center, with a memorial service to follow in New York.
