Kathleen Milstead Parks, 77, of Charleston, SC, passed away on April 29, 2024.

Born in Scotland, Kathleen lived a life filled with love, laughter, and unwavering kindness. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend whose presence brightened those around her.

Kathleen dedicated over 50 years of her life to the noble career of nursing. Known for her compassionate demeanor and unwavering commitment to patient care, Kathleen served as a pillar of support and comfort to countless individuals in her community. Whether it was administering treatment, offering a listening ear, or providing a comforting presence, Kathleen's dedication to healing touched the lives of many.

Kathleen is survived by her loving husband, Richie; her daughters, Sonya and Karen; her grandchildren, Maggie, Dermott, Nixon, and Jaxen; and her great-grandchildren, Grayson, Avery, and Ash.

Kathleen will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her legacy of love, compassion, and unwavering dedication to her community will continue to inspire and uplift those whose lives she touched.
