We will be having a Celebration of Life for Jonathon in Ohio on November 5, 2022, from 1-4pm at the Akron Rotary Camp, 4460 Rex Lake Dr, Akron, OH 44319. This open house-type event will be located in the Rennick and Dee Andreoli Recreation and Resource Center.

We will also be having a memorial on the beach in Charleston on March 26, 2023 (Jonathan's birthday).

Jonathan William Colant, 20, of Charleston, SC, passed away September 16, 2022. Arrangements in care of Charleston Cremation Center and Funeral Home. Jonathan was a loyal young man with a vibrant personality and imagination.

We will miss his happy smile and chatty personality. He enjoyed so many things. He loved to paddleboard with his dad and Laura, fish with his Grandpa, be Gilligan to Uncle Bobby's Skipper, play video games with his brother Andrew, explores Charleston, read and learn to cook. Most importantly he loved being with his family, especially his brother Andrew and his cousins.

He leaves behind so many loved ones. His mother Stephanie Oldfield Colant, his father and other mother Anthony M and Laura Colant, his brother Andrew M Colant, his grandmother Anita Colant, and his grandparents Wm and Lovey Oldfield. His aunts and uncles are Mary Ellen and Mark Gauer, David Colant, Debbie Pinas, Anne and Robert Alderman, Michelle Oldfield, and Marc and Jennifer Oldfield. His cousins were his first and closest friends throughout his life.

We were blessed to have his smile, his love, and his joy for life that will never leave us.

We appreciate that he is now in heaven with his grandfather Anthony J Colant, his cousin Christopher Pinas and childhood dog Herbie.
