James (Jim) Malcolm Norton, 77, of Charleston, SC, passed away on March 15, 2025.

Jim was born in Fort Worth, TX on May 25, 1947, son of AB and Lois Norton.

Jim worked as a manager for General Motors for 27 years on the east coast and Texas where he acquired many lifelong friends. He enjoyed golf, fishing and his dogs. Jim, a proud Texas A&M graduate, loved watching college football every chance he could get. He loved catching up with old friends, reminiscing about the past and talking about his kids. Jim will always be known for his uncanny sense of humor that could put a smile on anyone's face.

Jim is preceded in death by his parents AB and Lois Norton and his wife Connie Norton.

Jim is survived by children Aaron and Reid Norton, brothers Charles (Jerry) and William (Bill) Norton, grandson Fisher Norton, beloved grand dogs Cash, Rusty, Gracie, and Molly as well as many other family and friends.

The Celebration of Life will be held at a time and location to be determined.
