James "Jimmy" H. Lee, Jr. passed away Thursday, April 3, 2025 in Mt. Pleasant, SC. The son of two loving parents, Jim and Ginni Lee, Jimmy was born and lived his early years in Alexandria, VA, along with siblings, Sharon and Clark. The family moved to Frederick, MD in the late 60's where Jimmy grew up. He attended Gov. Thomas Johnson High School, and The University of Richmond where he majored in Business. Jimmy married Dee Dee Vachon, also of Frederick, MD in 1985. He worked with his father in the family retail businesses, and subsequently as a certified financial planner. Jimmy and Dee Dee lived in Great Falls, VA for 25 years with their two wonderful children, Eric and Caroline. Jimmy is also survived by Caroline's husband Will Goedde and two beautiful daughters, Aurora and Amelia, who were the light of his life.

Jimmy moved to his favorite place in the world, Charleston, SC in 2021 where he was retired, but extremely active in the community as a baseball and basketball umpire for local youth programs. He also spent many hours volunteering for Charleston area food pantries. Jimmy was a selfless, spiritual and dedicated father and husband who lived by the strong family values his parents, Jim and Ginni, instilled in him. Jimmy was a man that was loved and admired by those who knew him and will be sorely missed by the community.

Memorial services to celebrate Jimmy's life will be announced in the near future.
