Helen Ann McElroy Viola, 74, born July 15, 1949 in Bronx, NY and lived in Murrells Inlet, SC sadly left us on February 11, 2024. Helen retired from Con Edison. Helen was a much loved sister, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was a kind and adventurous woman, who loved food and family. Helen is survived by many, including her two sons, Christopher Viola and Matthew Viola, and their wives, Jeannine Viola and Karrie Viola. Helen also had six grandchildren, Nathan McFarland, Tylor Viola, Alexandria Viola, Erica Viola, Joshua Viola, and Zachary Viola. Helen was also blessed with one great-grandchild, Leslie Black.

Helen is also survived by her sister, Carol Poe and her family, as well as two brothers, Michael McElroy and Peter McElroy and his family.

There will be a celebration of life at her address at 19 Poolside Dr Murrells Inlet, SC 29576 on March 16th between the hours of 1pm and 4pm.

Second celebration of life will take place in Pennsylvania with details to follow.
