Harry James Morton, 78, of Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, passed away on December 17, 2024.

Harry was born in Laurens, South Carolina, on January 16, 1946, to Cathleen Casey and Leonard Morton.

Harry worked as an Industrial Engineer at Greenwood Mills most of his professional career and was a graduate of Limestone University. He enjoyed cheering for his Clemson Tigers and spending time with his family and friends. He was a member of St. James United Methodist Church in Laurens.

Harry was preceded in death by his parents and by his wife, Sharon.

He is survived by his daughter, Casie Morton Craine (Eric) and his grandchildren, Ellison Reid Craine and Olivia Ruth Craine of Mount Pleasant. In addition, he is survived by two sisters: Marlene M. Weathers and husband Tony of Laurens and Lynn M. Turner and husband Wade of Piedmont.
