With deep love, we announce the passing of Gary Dorio, a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend, who passed away on September 30, 2026, surrounded by loved ones at home. Gary was born on November 22, 1948, in Southington, CT.

He taught his family the value of courage and determination by how he fought through many health battles over the years. He loved sports and was a loyal fan of his favorite teams - the NY Yankees, Knicks, and Giants. He coached his daughter's youth soccer teams for many years and later cheered on his grandchildren in their many sports and school endeavors.

He is survived by his wife, Diane, of nearly 49 years; his daughters, Jen, Kate, and Lindsay; and their spouses, Larry, Kevin, and Matt. He is also survived by his brother, Dennis, and wife, Mary; as well as his 8 grandchildren, Annie, Rob, Elise, Matthew, Lexi, Evan, Nina, and Josie. His family will carry his memory forward through the lessons, values, and love he gave so generously. A private celebration of life will be held at a future date.
