Ely Edward Driggers III, age 49, entered eternal rest 0n Thursday, October 5, 2023.

Most often called "Eddie", he was always mechanically inclined and fixing or putting things together. He was also known for his love of cars, especially his iconic classic white Camaro he drove during high school.

Upon graduating from North Charleston High School in 1993, Eddie joined the Marines. After returning to the area, he worked at several area businesses, including T&T Sporting Goods, Uniforms by John, and the City of North Charleston. He took pride working in jobs that served the First Responders community. Eddie had a good heart and enjoyed helping people.

Most recently, Eddie began volunteering and working alongside Rising Winds and International Abba Ministries. It was during this time that Eddie committed his life to Christ, began attending Coastal Community Church, Bible Study and served at the Food Pantry. He had many plans to serve the Lord and explore his new life as a Christian.

Eddie will be sorely missed by his friends and family. He is predeceased by his parents, Ely Edward Driggers, Jr. and Lennis Driggers of North Charleston. He is survived by his brother Michael Driggers, wife Tracey, and their children Macy and Shane (Meggett, SC).

A memorial service will be held Saturday, October 14, 2023, at 11am, Church of the Resurrection, located at 5103 North Rhett Ave, North Charleston, SC 29405.
