Douglas Clay Minter, 66, of Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, passed away after courageous but brief battle with cancer on August 7, 2025.

Douglas is survived by his loving wife, Sharon Minter; his daughter, Sheri Minter and her husband, Steven Troilo; and his cherished grandchildren, Arabella Troilo and Hunter Troilo. He is also survived by his brothers, Craig Minter, Charles Minter, and Andrew Minter.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Jimmie Minter and Eugenia Minter, and his sister, Rebecca Minter.

Douglas will be remembered for his steadfast love for his family and fishing. His presence will be deeply missed, but his memory will live on in the hearts of those who loved him.
