Diego Fernando Carvajal, 48, of Mt. Pleasant, SC passed away on Friday, June 24th.

A private celebration of life will be held at a date to be determined.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be given to the J. Stewart Walker Fund at Giving - Donation Form - Sailing - College of Charleston (cofc.edu) , selecting the tribute gift option, to honor Diego's memory and support the College of Charleston Sailing Team where his son will be actively involved. Diego was born in Middleton, NY on June 6th, 1974, a son of Diego and Tanya Carvajal. He worked as a sales representative for Selden Mast for over 4 years. Diego enjoyed spending time with friends/family, sailing, motorbiking, traveling, and enjoying a great cigar. He was also actively involved in his son's sailing career.

Diego is survived by his wife, Tammy Cook, son Diego Zackary, parents Diego and Tanya, mother/father in-law Larry and Toni Cook, sister Claudia Tresente (Robert), and nephews Nicholas, Noah, and Philip.

Funeral arrangements are by Charleston Cremation Center.
