With deep love and sorrow, we remember a devoted husband, father, and grandfather who passed away on March 21, 2026, due to complications from Alzheimer's disease. He was born on September 12, 1944, in Toledo, Ohio, to Leonard and Elsie Segur, and lived a life defined by dedication to his family, quiet strength, and enduring love.

He was a graduate of Bedford High School in Temperance MI. Afterwards he proudly served his country in the United States Army for three years, where he formed lifelong values of hard work, loyalty, and perseverance that carried with him throughout his life. He worked at General Telephone for 32 years. His commitment and work ethic were evident throughout his professional life and earned the respect of colleagues and friends alike.

He was married to his beloved best friend and wife, Suzanne Segur, on June 14th, 1969. Together they shared a lifetime of memories, partnership, and unwavering support for one another. They enjoyed traveling, ocean cruises, and stock market investing. He had a great sense of humor, was even tempered with a very soft heart and enjoyed watching professional sports.

He was a proud father to his two sons, Austin and Zack, and warmly welcomed his daughters-in-law, Stephanie and Melanie, as part of the family. He loved his three grandchildren, Leo, Mason, and Rose, who were a constant source of pride and happiness. Preceded in death by his brothers Dennis and Doug Segur and survived by his sisters Debbie Gallagher and Brenda Stalder.

Despite the challenges brought on by illness in his later years, his love for his family remained constant. He will be remembered for his steady presence, caring heart, and the values he instilled in those around him.

He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him, but his memory will live on through the family he cherished and the lives he touched.
