We are sad to announce the passing of Darren Jerome Tisdale of Charleston, S.C. He passed away at the age of 43 on December 5th, 2022 at 9pm, surrounded by loved ones after a long battle with cancer.

Darren's Celebration of Life service will be held at 3pm on December 18th at Highest Praise Church on 19 Red Bug Rd SW, Shallotte N.C. 28470. In honor of Darren's wishes he wanted everyone to wear their Fishing or Beach attire. He loved to go fishing and the beach with his family.

Darren was born in Charleston S.C. on August 24th 1979, a son of Darren Jerome Tisdale Sr (Rip) and Shelia Strickland.

Darren was a great husband and wonderful father.Whenever he walked in the room the whole atmosphere would change for the better. If you were having a bad day he would always make you laugh and smile. He was a guardian of his family and loved them dearly. In his spare time he would play music and sing. We know he is in Heaven singing with the angels because he had an amazing voice. He was known by many names throughout the years by loved ones: Cowboy, D, Birdman, and Bosshog. His transparency and love was always sincere. Above all else he was a godly man, and knew his destination was in the arms of the Lord.

Darren is survived by: Tiffany Tisdale (Wife), Hank Tisdale (Son) Ryah Tisdale (Daughter) Darren Tisdale Sr ( Father) Shelia Strickland (Mother), and siblings Jeffery (Melissa) Tisdale, Phillip Rodgers,Travis Rodgers,Charlotte Tisdale, and other family and friends.

Darren is preceded in death by His Grandmother Janice Faulk, Grandparent's Geno Tisdale and Laura Tisdale,His Uncle's Bubba Tisdale and Rex Tisdale.

In lieu of flowers donations may be given to the Tisdale family.
