Connie Mae McKinnon, 58, of Johns Island, SC, wife of William Thomas McKinnon, passed away Thursday, July 14, 2022.

A memorial service will be held Friday, July 22, 2022 at 1:00 PM in the chapel of Charleston Cremation Center and Funeral Home, 2054 Wamba Creek Road, Charleston, SC 29492. Memorials and flowers will be accepted.

Connie was born in Charleston, SC, a daughter of the late John Ward and Barbara Williamson Ward. She attended St. Andrews High School and was an administrative assistant for The Citadel and the Post and Courier for 23 years. She enjoyed bird watching and spending time with friends and family. She was also actively involved in Charleston Lady Anglers.

Connie is survived by her loving husband, Bill; her beloved daughter Cassie; her brother Johnny Ward and his wife Ramona Ward; Sister Wanda Waltz and many nieces and nephews. She is also by many friends.

She was preceded in death by John and Barbara Ward and sister Teresa Ward.
