Christian Louis La Force, 73, of Charleston, South Carolina, passed away on February 22, 2026.

No funeral service will be held.

Christian was born in Pine Brook, New Jersey, on November 2nd, 1952, to John and Gladys La Force.

He worked as an Optical Technician for the Naval Information Warfare Center (NIWC) (Atlantic) for 50 years. He enjoyed building scale models. Christian served on the USS Pollack (SSN-603) and was a proud member of the local Submarine Veterans' association.

Christian was preceded in death by his father, John La Force; his mother, Gladys M. La Force; and his brother, Don C. La Force. He is survived by his brother, John B. La Force, of Richmond, Rhode Island, and by three nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to the USN Subvets Association in Charleston.

Funeral arrangements are entrusted to the Charleston Cremation Center.
