Cheryl Ann Ewing of Mt. Pleasant, SC, formerly of Silver Spring, MD passed away on July 24, 2022 at her home after a lengthy illness. She is survived by her loving husband, Ray Grzybowski, daughter, Ann Laura Walker, son, William Walker and sister, Mary O'Neill. Visitation will be at Charleston Cremation Center on July 28 from 2 to 4 and from 6 to 8. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you send donations to Doctors without Borders or Remote Area Medical.

Cheryl was a highly intelligent and accomplished woman, having earned a degree in Latin from Ursuline College, a Master's degree in accounting from Georgetown University and a Master's degree in classical languages from Catholic University. After working for GEICO Insurance Company for 19 years and rising to the position of Manager of Investment Accounting, she returned to her first love, which was teaching Latin. She taught Latin at several Middle Schools and High Schools in the Washington, DC area, where she was loved by her students for the creative, interesting (and often amusing) ways she taught them.

She will be sorely missed by many who knew and loved her.
