Reverend Charles B. Smoak, Jr., age 82, of Goose Creek, SC passed away suddenly on Wednesday, November 27, 2024. Charles is the
son of the late Charles and Eva Smoak of Johns Island, SC.

Charles is survived by his daughter, Celeste Wegner (Shawn); his grandsons, Samuel Wegner and Matthew Wegner, both of Goose Creek; two sisters, Julie Infinger of Charleston and Dorothy Meek (Ronnie) of Johns Island; two brothers, Andy Smoak (Joyce) of Johns Island and JD Smoak (Rolinda) of St. Petersburg, Florida; several nieces; and two special friends, Peggy Hamon of Goose Creek and Gloria Evangelista of Goose Creek.

Charles was preceded in death by his son, Jay; his daughter, Krista; a grandson, MacKenzie; his parents, Charles and Eva; and several aunts, uncles, cousins, and a niece and nephew.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 25, 2025, at 12:00 noon, at First Baptist Church of Johns Island, 3483 Maybank Hwy, Johns Island, SC 29455.
