Chad Sterling
Milson
Jan 5, 1976 — Apr 20, 2024
Chad Sterling Milson, aged 48, of Mt. Pleasant, South Carolina, passed away on April 20, 2024.
The Celebration of Life Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on May 13, 2024, at the Seacoast Church Chapel, 750 Long Point Road, Mt. Pleasant, South Carolina. Reception will be announced at a later date.
Chad was born in Riverside, California on January 5, 1976, a son of George Edward Milson, Jr. and Augustina Milson.
Chad worked as a Brick Mason for 30+ years. He enjoyed playing baseball and football with his favorite baseball team being the Anaheim Angels and his favorite football team being the Pittsburgh Steelers. He also enjoyed playing golf with his dad. He loved to paint and draw, read, write poetry, and make beautiful projects out of brick and stone. For many years in California, he coached boys U12 football for Junior All American Football Federation (JAFF) and spent countless hours mentoring young men in the community. Since coming to South Carolina, he was actively involved in his daughter's sporting interests to include coaching her soccer team for one season.
Chad's greatest love and joy in life was his daughter, Abbie, as well as his family and friends. Abigail means a "father's joy" and to see them together was magical. Chad was a talented artist which included creating beautiful projects out of brick and stone. There was no denying he loved the Pittsburgh Steelers and was never seen without a Dr. Pepper in his hand. He was a person who was immediately liked by all who met him and always had a joke to share.
Chad is survived by his wife, Charlene Milson; his daughter, Abigail "Abbie" Milson; his father and stepmother, Ed and Carol Milson; his mother, Augustina Milson; his oldest brother, Eric Irelan (Denise Irelan), George Edward Milson, III "Trey;" his sisters, Sabrina Buelna (Charles Buelna), Lesa Hibbard (Tom Hibbard), Angela Kana (Chris Kana), and Heather Reese (Joe Reese); aunts and uncles; many beloved cousins; nieces and nephews; and so many other family and friends.
Chad is preceded in death by his grandfather, George Edward Milson; his Granny, DeeAnn Milson; and his cousin, Andrew Milson.
