Brian Robert Cox, age 50, passed away unexpectedly from natural causes on July 24, 2022, in Charleston, SC.

A memorial service will be held at The Beaufort National Cemetery on 8-02-22 at 11am.

Brian was born in Fairmont WV on 5-21-1972 to Robin Ellen Cox and Ronald Van Kirk. After graduation from North Marion High School, he joined the United States Marine Corps. He served until an injury took him out of commission. Since that time he had had several jobs including IT, veterinary tech and house supervision. He loved caring for animals, restoring cars, music and art.

He is survived by his children Joshua (Victoria) and Molly. He is also survived by siblings: Joshua Carter (Misty), Xenia Wright (Bobby) and Brandy Zirkle as well as several nieces and nephews and a grandson on the way. He was preceded in death by his parents.

He was taken too soon and will be missed by those who loved and knew him. Funeral arrangements are by Charleston Cremation Center and Funeral Home.
