Brenton "Brent" Lavern Cross, age 76, of Bonney, SC passed away on May 9, 2026 at Trident Hospital.

A memorial service will be held at a future date.

Brent was born in Charleston, SC on March 1, 1950, a son of James "Wallace" Cross and Mary "Corinne" Hucks Cross.

Brent was self-employed as a building contractor in O'Fallon, Missouri.

Brent is survived by two sons, Kamen and Brian, his brothers Lance Carlton Cross (TX),
Sibyl Cross Barnwell (Richard) (SC), Karen Cross McEwen, (SC), Kathy Cross (WA) and Elton Loren Cross (SC), numerous nieces and nephews.

Brent is preceded in death by his parents Wallace and Corinne Cross, and uncles and aunts Winston & Oiuda Cross, Hester Hucks Singletary, Franklin Asbury Hucks, Jesse & Lucy Hucks Lawrimore, Bradford Hucks.
