Bogdan Andrzej Senko, born February 27, 1956, passed away peacefully, leaving behind a life defined by devotion to family, hard work, and a wholehearted engagement with the world around him.

He is lovingly survived by his wife, Barbara; his children, Magdalena Russell and her husband Matthew (children Avalynn and Emily), and David Senko and his wife Taylor (daughter Eleanor and another grandchild on the way). He is also survived by his brother, Henryk Senko, his sister, Wieslawa Tarapacka, and a large circle of extended family and friends. He is reunited in eternal rest with his parents, Wladyslaw and Maria.

Born and raised in Poland, Bogdan immigrated to the United States in his late twenties, where he built a life grounded in opportunity, perseverance, and strong family ties. A Polish-American through and through, he spoke Polish at home, maintained close connections to Poland, and passed his language, culture, and values on to his children.

By trade, Bogdan was an electrician, though his abilities extended far beyond his profession. He was known as someone who could build, fix, or improve nearly anything, approaching every project with care and pride.

Bogdan was a man of many interests. He had a lifelong love of sports, and among family and friends he was known as the reigning, and largely undefeated, ping pong champion. He also enjoyed playing billiards, loved tennis, and later took up pickleball, quickly mastering the game. Music was another constant in his life. Bogdan could play the accordion, piano, harmonica, and guitar, and had a remarkable ability to play entirely by ear, never relying on sheet music.

Bogdan had a quiet charisma that drew people in effortlessly. He never needed to make an entrance, he simply walked into a room, and by the end of the night, everyone felt like they knew and loved him. He had a gift for making friends wherever he went, often leaving a lasting impression on those he had just met. He loved telling jokes, finding the perfect moment in a conversation to make someone laugh, and his humor was as natural as it was unforgettable. His charm was subtle, grounded, and genuine, a true reflection of his Polish roots.

Above all, Bogdan's greatest joy was his grandchildren. He adored Avalynn, Emily, and Eleanor, and eagerly anticipated the arrival of another grandchild. He cherished every moment with them, always present, engaged, and full of love.
