Betty Wilson Stalets, 86, beloved mother, grandmother and devoted wife passed away peacefully on July 4, 2025.

Betty was the youngest of five children born on June 21, 1939 in Kearny, New Jersey to the late Andrew and Rubye Wilson. She married the love of her life, Vincent Stalets, on February 20, 1960. Together they raised their family in Florence, South Carolina where Betty worked in the office at Carolina Power and Light. Florence was where they made many lifelong friends.

Upon retirement, Betty and Vince spent many happy years in the upstate in Keowee Key, South Carolina. Betty loved the lake life, and she could always be found outside boating on the lake or by the pool with a good book in hand, Vince always by her side.

Betty was a treasure to her family and will be deeply missed. She was predeceased by her husband of 62 years, Vincent Stalets, her parents and siblings.

She is survived by her two daughters Kathy Stalets Peck (Chris) and Kim Stalets Rheinlander (Mark) and five grandchildren Kaitlyn Peck Holland (Robbie), Alexander Edlin Peck (Caroline), Ian Joseph Peck, William Blake Colucci and Nicolas Bryce Colucci.
