Arthur 'Pop Art' Medeiros, 91, passed away on Tuesday, July 12, 2022. He was born on March 23, 1931, in Fall River, MA. Art was a sergeant in the Army, Korean War veteran (1951-1953) served in the National Guard, and a printer. He was the beloved husband of Mary-Ann Medeiros, and they were married for 26 beautiful years. He was the father of Daniel Raposa (Barbara), Richard Medeiros (Verona), grandfather to Kim, Daniel, Amanda, Craig, and ten great-grandchildren, step-father to Kathi Santanella (Husband: Frank, Sons: Frankie Joe and Jake(Marla + Miles), Lisa (Kaylyn Rose + Daniel), John (Amy + Sophia), Ben Quick (Fiancée Dawn). Pop was the glue that holds two families together and everyone loved him with all their hearts. Pop Art was one of the most creative people one could meet. He enjoyed painting a variety of art genres, putting puzzles together, and building little wooden furniture and models. Everyone describes him as a man who would put forth his full attention if you were talking to him. He was also an extremely generous person who would give anything for his loved ones to be happy, he will be missed deeply.

There will be a church service on July 16, 2022 at St. Pauls church in Summerville, SC. His burial will be in Swansea, MA at a later date.
