Antonietta Teresa Scalia, age 58 of Canton, Ohio passed away peacefully Wednesday, December 21st, 2022 at MUSC Hospital in Charleston, SC. She was born January 29th, 1964 in Careri, Italy to the late Guisseppi and Maria (Perri) Scalia.

Antonietta was a 1982 graduate of Tuscarawas Central Catholic High School. She worked many years for the Stark Metro Housing Authority in Canton. Due to health complications, she retired to Charleston, SC. She enjoyed knitting, cooking, and socializing with her family which often included a "mean" game of Rummy.

Antoinetta is survived by her loving son, Ryan (Ann) Scalia and "Nette's" joy -her grandson Camden; brothers John (Lucretia) Scalia and Angelo (Angela) Scalia as well as nine nephews and one great-nephew, several aunts, uncles and cousins as well her dear aunt and uncle Dominic and Concetta Perri and cousins Lidia and Fabrizzio.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother Rocco Scalia. In memory of Antoinetta the family requests donations be made in her honor to the American Heart Association. Graveside services will take place at the convenience of the family.
