She married her high school sweetheart, Ronald L. Holden. Anne received her under graduate degree from Ohio University in 1960 and her Masters Degree from Ashland University. She went on to teach at Ashland High and Ashland University.
As an author of the book, In Search of a Warm Room – A Story of Survival during WWII as Documented in a Diary, Anne gave countless talks about her story.
