Albert Wiedmer Keiser, 88, of Summerville, South Carolina, passed away on June 1, 2026.

Albert was born on June 26, 1937, in St. Louis, Missouri, to Stephen Harris Keiser and Isabella Wiedmer Keiser. He grew up in Missouri and developed a lifelong spirit of adventure and independence. As a young man, he enjoyed automobiles and racing, particularly Corvettes, and was also a recreational pilot who loved flying.

Albert served his country as a medic in the United States Air Force. Throughout his life, he pursued a wide range of careers and interests, working as a salvage dealer, commodity and stock broker, architect, artist, and photographer. He owned and operated a photography studio in downtown Greenville, South Carolina, where he became known for producing fine-art photographs printed on satin. His creativity and entrepreneurial spirit were evident in everything he did.

Al enjoyed pottery, photography, trading, and the pursuit of new ideas. He was a talented artist and craftsman whose curiosity and imagination remained with him throughout his life. Al valued his independence, creativity, and the freedom to pursue his many interests.

Albert was preceded in death by his parents, Stephen Harris Keiser and Isabella Wiedmer Keiser; his younger brother, Edward Keiser; and his daughter, Darcy Keiser.

He is survived by his wife, Lesley Quast; his stepson, Ryan Wheatley, and Ryan's children, Ryder and Evie; his daughter, Paige McLemore; his sons, David Keiser and Stephen Keiser; his grandchildren, Fern and James McLemore, and Paul, Gwen, Sarah, Will, Sam, and Ben Keiser; and extended family members and friends.

In accordance with Albert's wishes, no funeral or visitation services will be held.
