Obituary

Aarin Bond Presley, 44, of Mt. Pleasant, SC, passed away surrounded by family on the evening of January 15, 2024, after a 20-month battle with brain cancer.
Aarin was born in Charleston, SC, daughter of Timothy Bond and Margie Small. She attended the College of Charleston, receiving a Bachelor of Science in International Business with a minor in Spanish, as well as a Master of Science in Accountancy. Aarin loved to travel and experience other cultures, was a fluent Spanish speaker, and was learning German. She enjoyed a long career working for the federal government, most recently as a Business Financial Manager for Naval Information Warfare Command (NIWC) in Stuttgart, Germany, achieving a lifelong dream of living and working abroad. Of her many accolades, her proudest accomplishment was being Mom to her son, Carson. Aarin's positive spirit and unwavering kindness made her well-liked by all who knew her, and she will be greatly missed.
Aarin is survived by husband Ryan, son Carson, mother Margie (Floyd) Small, father Tim Bond, sister Keri (Lucas) Wilde, and niece Fiona Garafolo.
