Ken Warzynski of Mt. Pleasant, SC passed away on January 18, 2019 at Roper St. Francis Hospital in Mt. Pleasant with his children by his side.Ken was born on June 30, 1948 in Chicago, IL to Harry and Florence Warzynski.
Ken attended Gordon Tech High School and DePaul University where he excelled as a member of their Varsity basketball programs.Ken still holds multiple school basketball records and is a member of the DePaul University Hall of Fame. Ken was drafted in the second round of the 1970 NBA Draft by the Detroit Pistons and also played professionally overseas.
Ken enjoyed boating, gardening, golfing, socializing, and watching his children play basketball.
Ken worked in his family's business Security Motor Service Chicago, Service Master and most recently as a top producing Real Estate Agent with Coldwell Banker.
Ken was preceded in death by his father Harry Warzynski and mother Florence Warzynski.Ken is survived by his sister: Arlene (Mike) Feldner, Children: Julie (Bill) Neubert, JoAnne Warzynski, Chris (Charity) Warzynski, Kevin (Tiffany) Warzynski and his grandchildren: Christopher, Devin, Hannah, Haley and Owen.
Funeral arrangements are to be held privately by family.Ken's family requests that you hug your family and tell them how much you love them in lieu of flowers or donations.
