Frank Vincent Patton

Frank Vincent Patton, Sr., 90, passed away peacefully at home on May 25, 2020. Frank was born to Una and Mary Patton in Chester, PA in 1929. He enlisted in the Army/Air Force at the age of 17 and was honorably discharged in 1947. Frank resided in Swarthmore, PA for the better part of his adult life and retired from Strawbridge and Clothier in 1999, where he worked as a warehouseman. He moved to Mt. Pleasant, SC in 2015 to retire and be closer to family. He is survived by his wife, Kathleen J. Patton, daughters Donna Smith (David), Beth Corbett, son, Frank Patton, Jr. (Nedra), granddaughters, Trisha Slaughter (Shane), Brooke Schulte (Dan), Jen Drapp (Matt), grandson, Bryan Smith (Cristina), great-grandchildren, Matthew Slaughter, Kayleigh Slaughter, Solomon Smith, Aidan Smith, Elena Smith, Mason Drapp, Zoe Schulte and Maxwell Schulte, sisters, Audrey Brown (Arnold), Francis McAnally, Gail Dugger, brother, Jim Patton (Emily Gordon), nephew, Gary Stevenson (Sandy), and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Frank enjoyed working on cars, fixing things, woodworking, the old country western music, and western movies and books. Many thanks to Respite Care Charleston (our adopted family), volunteers, and friends, for all their support and love. A private service will be held at Grace Bible Church.
